Your shipping policy

Shipping Policy

This policy explains how and when Lumen Goods (lumengoods.com) delivers orders. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Processing is separate from transit time — your total delivery time is processing plus the transit estimates below.

Domestic shipping

Standard delivery takes an estimated 3–5 business days after dispatch. Shipping is free on orders over 75 USD; below that, rates are calculated at checkout. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed — carriers may experience delays outside our control.

International shipping

We ship internationally. Delivery takes an estimated 7–14 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and customs processing. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping charges.

Order tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to activate.

Delays, lost or damaged parcels

If your order is significantly delayed, appears lost, or arrives damaged, contact us at support@lumengoods.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and offer a replacement or refund for items confirmed lost or damaged in transit.

Incorrect addresses

Please check your address carefully at checkout. We cannot refund orders delivered to an incorrectly entered address, but contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to reroute the parcel.

Unclear shipping terms are an FTC and chargeback risk

Advertising delivery times you can't meet violates FTC mail-order rules and invites chargebacks. mir-n verifies your store publishes shipping terms, delivery estimates and every other required document — and flags the gaps with the fix.

Frequently asked questions

Is this shipping policy generator free?
Yes — completely free, runs in your browser, no account required. Copy the HTML or download it at no cost.
Do I legally need a shipping policy?
US FTC rules require you to ship within the timeframe you advertise — or within 30 days if you state none — and to notify customers of delays. In the EU, consumer law requires delivery within 30 days unless agreed otherwise. A published shipping policy is how you set those expectations, and payment processors and marketplaces expect one.
What should a shipping policy include?
Processing time before dispatch, shipping options and costs (including any free-shipping threshold), estimated delivery times per region, international shipping and who pays customs duties, order tracking, and what happens with lost or delayed parcels.
Should I offer free shipping?
Free shipping over a threshold is one of the strongest conversion levers in e-commerce — set the threshold 15–30% above your average order value. Whatever you choose, state it plainly in the policy and at checkout to avoid cart abandonment.
Where should I publish my shipping policy?
On a dedicated page such as /pages/shipping-policy, linked from your footer on every page and from product pages near the add-to-cart button. Shopify displays it at checkout automatically once added under Settings → Policies.
